My partner and I had a wonderful time at this unique log home! Spectacular views of the lake, especially at sunset. Easy walking distance to everything in downtown Saugatuck, including an excellent coffee shop and hip bars/restaurants. Nestled in an adorable neighborhood with huge trees and lake views and lots of early/mid twentieth century cottages. It was very quiet and very private. The cabin sits atop a little hill, so the back of the house faces the lake with several elevated porches and balconies. Even in November, we enjoyed these! Our host was gracious and extremely attentive and communicative, checking on us often. The home was spotless. Clearly this is a home with history that has been much loved over the years, right down to the hobbit-like kitchen (watch out tall peeps!) The gorgeous fireplace was not functional during our stay, which was our only disappointment. We would for sure return to this adorable place!
